A new guest just messaged me asking to book a certain hotel. I checked, and it was fine as long as it wasn\u2019t a single room.
But the guest replied: \u201cI\u2019m in a single room.\u201d
I politely responded: \u201cCould you switch to a double room or a king-sized room?\u201d and also explained the reason (which many people might not know):
